The Société Française d’Études du Monde Tibétain / SFEMT is pleased to announce its first Doctoral students workshop in Tibetan studies, organized with support from the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales / INALCO.
This event will take place on Friday, 17 May 2013 at INALCO Paris, from 9 AM to 5:30 PM (room 5.28).
Eleven doctoral students will be presenting their work. The fields of study range from Tibetan linguistics to archaeology, art history, anthropology, religious studies and history, and the geographical areas span the entire Tibetan cultural area, from NW Yunnan and southern Gansu to Spiti and Ladakh.
