The Max-Planck Institute and its department of Religious Diversity invites applications for two full time funded postdoctoral positions for the research project on new media and religious politics. This project is investigating new media dynamics, political Islam and political Hinduism in South Asia and among the South Asian diaspora in Europe. The objective is to examine the ways that the Internet media facilitates and reshapes new transnational networks of religious politics, and its ramifications for South Asian politics and diaspora cultures.
