The Association des Jeunes Études Indiennes (AJEI) will be organizing its annual autumn workshop on October 9th in Pondichéry. This year, we have chosen to center our discussions around the theme: « Uses and Representations of the Environment in Contemporary India ». Johan Krieg, Daphné Reguiessé, Marwan Attalah, Lalitha Muthu, Julie Rocton, and Delia Visan are particularly pleased to be collaborating with the French Institute of Pondicherry (IFP) for this edition. As a result, the workshop will be integrated into their Social Sciences Winter School (SSWSP),offering an enriching interdisciplinary platform for discussions and exchanges. The event is generously funded by GIS Asie and the Centre de Sciences Humaines (CSH) in Delhi.
